Angus Glasgow and Joe Doyle purchased the Heavy Metal Gym in December 2017. The gym was originally founded back in the 1980s
and was Kamloops’ first 24 hour fitness facility.
Joe is a former professional boxer and Angus is a Navy Veteran who has done everything from Parkour to Ju Jitsu. They have ties to several Kamloops businesses and work closely with the City of Kamloops to help revitalize the North Shore.
Ken Huber coach and co-manager at Kamloops Boxing Academy is a very accomplished pro boxer winning many titles from Unified Boxing B.C./Combsport B.C. Provincial Heavyweight Champ to B.C. Golden Gloves. Ken is a father of three who works full time as a Commercial Transport Mechanic.
